Outage from 17 Feb 15:00 – 18 Feb 09:46
Antville.org was not reachable for more than 18 hours due to an initial failure I still have to fully understand. (Of course this was not the plan!)
However, that it took that long is because I was not even able to remotely connect to Elise for a reboot.
And since there is no free week-end service at the new housing provider I decided not to pay the fee for having a technician go on-site by purpose but wait until the next working day.
I am not very happy with this situation neither and will apply for access to the server farm ASAP to at least be able to go there myself in case such an event should occur again.

Danke. Ich bin so froh, dass alles wieder funktioniert. Jetzt habe ich mal wieder bemerkt, was ich an antville habe :-)

Ein Extra-Danke für die Entscheidung, nicht Geld in gierigen Providermäulern zu versenken. 24 Stunden ohne hält wirklich jeder aus.

Als geldgierig sollten wir Elises Heimatgeber nun wirklich nicht abstempeln. Immerhin sponsort er ja das Housing zu einem Großteil.
Das Geld ist aber sicher besser für einen Zugang zum Server-Rack angelegt. Und das hab ich ehrlich gesagt einfach vergessen zu veranlassen...

Das hab ich glatt verschwitzt, dass Sil Antville was sponsert. Jetzt glaube ich mich zu erinnern, dass das beim Umstieg hier angesprochen wurde.
Nehme das gierig daher zurück!
Und gucke wieder mal in meine eigene Börse. Mal sehen, ob was für Antville drin ist.
